Welcome to East Area Thai / Kickboxing
EATK has been running for over 20 years. The club is led by Chief Instructor, Nigel Thompson who first started the club in 1985 in Bedford. EATK now has 12 clubs in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire with over 250 registered members. We have 20 fighters achieving successful fight records with English & British Commonwealth titles. There are 6 qualified Instructors who have their own clubs and 4 Assistant Instructors.
Nigel has studied martial arts from the age of 16 and initially began studying Lau Gar Kung Fu and in the 1990's progressed to Freestyle Kickboxing and Thai Boxing (Muay Thai).
Some of Nigel's titles include former English, Commonwealth & World Thai Boxing Champions to name but a few. A highly skilled coach and trainer, Nigel has over 27 years of martial arts experience helping to produce champions and top class fighters.
